what will happen if paper code wrongly entered in OMR sheet?
ReplyDeleteif you have entered the code that matches with other paper then it may create conflicts but not surely but if that is invalid then it is the possibility that they might come to your OMR manually but this is also not officially valid.

@Murali: If you noticed, the paper code was pre-printed on the ORS. If you just realized that you submitted a wrongly tagged ORS, just pray that the answers you entered coincidentally matched the ones of the wrong code on your ORS....
ReplyDeleteya, the difficulty levels are almost same. Chemistry this time is good, but it was last time also. paper-2 of iit jee 2011 was good just as it is the case with this paper. The problem here which can boost the cut offs is the lack of negative markinks in paragraphs and multiple choices, due to which ,many can get marks by doing even lame guesses. I PERSONALLY FEEL, THAT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NEGATIVE MARKING FOR PARAGRAPHA AND MULTIPLE CHOICES, WHEN THE DIFFICULTY LEVELS ARE MODERATE.

For 0 bubble they had two circles, i had to fill only the area between them but i filled the whole circle, inner one also... If u can imagine wat i am trying saying... :( pls help.... :o

@284...First of all congrats to you for this success because if you are getting 284 from the answer sheet then make it +/- 20 not much difference will be caused...so according to the stats you will stand something about 1000 rank or so.

ReplyDeleteI personally think that the cutoffs are gonna be much lower than 160. The more conceptual the paper is the less the cutoff's generally are you know. I am a teacher by the way.

u cant just go the by percentage. The number of questions were reduced that should not significantly affect the cutoffs( one can only answer so much questions in a limited time). This was the case in last years aieee, where a score of 135 got u a rank of 42000 instead of the projected 20-25000(going strictly by percentage).
