AIEEE 2012 COUNSELLING AND COLLEGE SELECTION

Hi,
You people have been wondering which college you must take as your career initiative, so here is my suggestion
1- Do not follow rubbish priorities on the web , think on your own.
2- Selection of colleges must be made not only on the basis of opening and closing ranks , you must consider other facts too such as location of college (in which city the college is) , it affects a lot.

3- Look for the placements of the college first on some recognized site which does not give you false suggestion .
4- Give priorities to branch rather than college unless their is a huge difference in ranking.

Among best NIT's ,IIIT's for their placements you mut consider this list .
DTU (Delhi technical University).
NIT Allahabad
NIT warangal
NIT Surathkal
NIT Trichy
IIIT Allahabad
IIIT Gwalior

I must say that if you have got ranks < 3000 then you must fill IIIT hyderabad as your first priority because it is the best institute if you are interested in IT sector .
AT Last
If your rank is not so good , i mean if it is > 25000 and less than 30000 then you must wait for the last or se7enth counselling because believe me you can miss the gr8 opportunity of getting NIT but branch will not be of your interest because i know nobody wants to choose mining as his sole career.
